I’m with you, but you forgot Tampa and Miami as Gulf Coast pro teams.

Miami is technically gulf coast but it's not really what people think of when they think of gulf coast. Tampa I'll give you, my freshman year at LSU in 08 I did actually see a lot of Rays shirts and flags in the dorms and I remember being surprised by it. I don't really think of it as SEC domain though.

Sorta could agree until you see Texas A&M is on the list, but then Georgia isn't

UGA has the Braves in Atlanta. And saying this makes me vomit, but A&M supports their athletic programs across all sports way better than UGA fans do. Majority of UGA fans care about football, die hard football fans granted, but nothing else. Aggie fans, as weird as they are, will support their teams across all sports.

Yep. I live 45 mins NW of Athens. UGA fans care about football almost exclusively. Many long for a competitive basketball and baseball team. I’d say more so for basketball. They’re fair weathered in most non football sports. Really no reason they shouldn’t be competitive. They’re about to get some long needed upgrades to Foley Field and this state is LOADED with baseball players. They’re so stoned from football right now, they couldn’t care less. If they 3 peat, I may have to move.
