The problem isn't in threats and demands. The problem is in the players behavior in their new locker room and disrupting the organization.

They can "behave" enough to not be subject to fines, but just generally not getting along with anyone in the organization and just going through the motions is enough to disrupt what you are trying to build, especially if that player is your star player.

You NEED the buy in from your star player. This is why it keeps working when they say they don't want to go somewhere.

Why give up all of those assets and salary to someone who doesn't want to be a part of what you are trying to build? It's better to find players that will buy in.

One thing i can guarantee you, as long as he’s sent to a team that has another star or two Dame would be happy and wouldn’t cause any issues.

We have CJ (one of his beat friends) and Zion (one of the main guys he was trying to get Portland to get) here, we would be his best chance he’s ever had at a championship, and wouldn’t have to deplete ourselves of assets to get him.
