I was one of the last people I know to buy a pellet grill because I love charcoal. Still nothing quite like a 80/20 ground beef burger on a hot as the sun grill. That being said I'm now a fan of the pellet grill. I've done everything on it that I've done on charcoal and there is very little difference, if any.

right there with you, I got my Pit Boss a couple weeks ago over the Labor Day sales. I'm keeping the charcoal grill for now, and my dedicated vertical smoker is TBD pending some pulled pork on the pellet next week, but my 20 yr old Weber gas grill is headed out the door.
