3. Strong lean for Trump, but will vote for Desantis if he is the nominee

May the best baw win

Side note, and not critical of Ron, but his campaign needs to do a far better job of messaging.

Somehow on one of my throwaway emails, NBD PAC sends a million garbage messages with horrible photos of Ron. I believe this is where the difference will come in down the road.

ETA: #5 is also a good option IMO but chalk me down for #3 still

DeSantis is incredible on the issues and his follow through, but his messaging looks like its coming from the people who brought you Jeb!

It's like his comms team are a bunch of madison ave ad execs trying to write content to appeal to people they don't understand or like.

He has an amazing story, an incredible track record and a photogenic family who would appeal to suburban swing voters, but they have to make him more relatable or his substance will be overshadowed by the imperfect messaging.

Meanwhile Trump knows who he is, messages to blue collar voters and shows up every day seemingly ready for war.

If DeSantis could convince the Trump base he's MAGA while showing the suburbs he comes without all the baggage he would be the next president absent obscene amounts of voting fraud.
