My BIL who is a master plumber, recently retired, worked on his own with a helper if needed, 1 truck, home office, so low overhead, he charged $100/hour, 2 years ago - you know it would be more today.

His brother, also a master plumber, with multiple employees and several trucks, plumbing business office, a secretary, … charges $150/hour - that was a year ago. New Orleans.

I’m not sure I’d want to hire any skilled licensed tradesman charging less than $100 per hour - I’d be questioning their skill set if they charged much less b/c the good ones can easily command that price, and don’t lack for work/jobs.
