I always liked his “Quirky Behavior” he was just himself and so different that he had that Colombo type personality, funny guy that Pumped Up The Beast in his troops

Lots of revisionism going on here.
Les was a very good coach and he had as good a run here as anyone ever has as football HC. Very good recruiter. He apparently ran a good ship (Vidal Alexander notwithstanding) overall and won a couple of nattys.
he's easy to criticize though, b/c
1) He's not Nick Saban (nobody else is);
2) 1/9/12 was unforgiveable;
3) horrible game manager;
4) big boobed coeds
