re: Ever own a daily driver without a working A/C in this heat?

I had a 1990 Honda Civic that I loved. Good car, fantastic mileage (standard transmission), peppy engine.

After 7 years and 115k miles, AC went out. Sweat my arse off every day on the way home from work.

Thanks to AL Gore banning freon, the entire system would have had to have been changed out at a cost of about what the value of the car was worth.

In retrospect, I should have bitten the bullet. I would still see that car driving around town for another 10 years.
