I dont think that’s fair to say. JJ doesn’t prioritize it when making a roster.

you’re not wrong? but this team had an OB% of .432. last year our Ob% was .404. The 2009 teams Ob% was .405. that’s with old bats that were still pretty lively.

the 21 team drew 244 walks.

jumped to 306 in 22 and 413 in 23.

and not to take away from Paul. he was a great coach, but we complained nonstop about Javi. Jay himself is a great hitting coach.

Jay preaches on taking walks, but I think we have to take into account the incredibly tight SEC strike zone for the numbers this year.
