My, now 22 yo, oldest son came to this conclusion at 17. Too many social media post I suppose. I encouraged it, if for no other reason than to learn “money don’t come easy”. He and a buddy each chipped in $500(earned through odd jobs) and, within 4 months, realized money, in fact, doesn’t come easy. They worked their butts off creating a website and researching products/pricing/marketing/etc. He’s now top 10% in law school so lesson well earned!
