Don't you find it weird that even during the great depression marriage rates were still really high?
Broke men have existed for ages...they still got married.
Why now is a broke man such an issue and why is it an issue when women are now more high earning than ever?
Broke men are not the problem, female expectations have changed the game.

Absolutely, females (in general) expect the man to outearn them. Therefore, the more they make, the more they expect out of a man. And during good times a man should be well off relative to his peers.
During the depression, monetary expectation were low.
