I am fast approaching 40. I make low 6 figures. I get laid when I want to.
I do what I want, when I want.
Are there times when it would be better to have a partner, yes.
Do I get to miss the BS I don’t want? Yes.
I get to travel and waste my money on what I want.
No kids or wife to spend it for me.
Is this life for everyone? No, some friends are never able to be single for more than a few days.
I like my freedom.
Will I regret it when I am older, I do not know.

The trend is not surprising.
I've heard over and over from our single female friends in our age group that they want what me and my wife have. A fun, loving, committed relationship.
