What kind of food are you looking for?

Mexican - Superior Grill or Cantina Laredo
Steak - The Cub
Fine dining - Ernest's
Seafood - Herby K's

Can't go wrong with any of those places.

Listen to Fred! Try The Cub first. I used to like Brocato's and Leon's Smoked Turkey years ago. Too bad both have closed! Along with the Pizza King!

Went there this summer and did not enjoy. I was disappointed because I had heard good things from several people.

Superior Grill sucks.
Go to L'Italiano in Bossier City for the best Italian! And not expensive.
Copeland's in Shreveport is best for seafood.
The best Mexican is Trejos.
Best Catfish is Crescent Landing.
There are lots of Chinese buffets...best is Chef Lees.

Most people that recommend Superior do so because it was a good place to get a drink during happy hour, especially if you were looking to hook up. At least it was that way when I was in Shreveport in the late 90's thru 2003. I was never impressed with the food. There was a place just next to Superior named BellaFresca or something similat that had good modern Italian-like food. Not sure if it is still there.

If you are looking for a good diner type place, make sure to stop by one of the Strawn's...great burgers...

Bump, because I really want to hear what DaBeerz considers better seafood in Shreveport. Cause I'm going there this week.

Copeland's isn't bad, but it is far from the best seafood in S'port.
