Why would you not have him start to prevent the bad situation then? Lol

the frick? You realize who they have on the mound tomorrow right? Have you looked at their bullpen? Most of their best relief is still available. There's no waiting for a bind before you put Skenes in. You put him in and then figure it out later if it comes to that.

LSU has Dutton, Little, Money, and Collins, Hurd tomorrow. Do you feel confident any of these guys can get it done or do you want to see if you can stretch Skenes to pitch a complete game? Dutton/Collins don't see action for a reason. Neither does Money and you saw why today. Little gets tagged and has control issues. Hurd is the only one you should be giving the ball to and even he's risky because they already saw him and got a few good swings.

Because he can still come in and nullify it.

I’d at least like to let them try. Doing that doesn’t mean Skenes isn’t available.
