We don't have a bullpen genius. Everyone is close to being spent or done. They already seen Hurd and got a few good swings on him. You establish dominance early and give them 0 momentum. LSU will be going against one of the best pitchers in the country tomorrow. You don't want them to get a commanding lead and kill all the momentum.
Do you really think they don't have a huge advantage if LSU puts someone like Little or Hurd on the mound against their ace?
