What you are missing is that Skenes can’t be ready in 30 seconds. Things can get out of hand before he gets in there. Then everyone is fighting to come from behind and the damage may very well be more than a run to two. All of this and we’ve fricked up his game day routine.

Regular routines and schedules have long been out the window in the post season. Skenes will not be phased by a small adjustment in his routine if he’s needed.
