I would posit that left, right and center anyone in a position where they could impact diversity when talking about diversity is merely using buzz words and, as you say, talking out their arse. They could care less about diversity and are interested mainly in getting someone who won't frick up what ever it is they need to get done and will do so for the least amount of money possible. If that means a green person from Mars that is the person who is going to get the gig....
