Yes we are-
Ascension Parish has the highest medium household income in the state and its school district is among the top rated as well.
These two variables generally correlate with higher housing costs.
Comparatively, one would expect to pay more for housing in Prairieville than in Bogalusa.

Also depends on what part of AP you live. Gonzales is pretty average, d’ville on the very low end. But certain parts are some of the highest in the entire state.
