re: Gameday Superstitions - What is everyone doing to appease the baseball gods?

I’ve had a lucky polo that I’ve worn for every football game or big baseball game since 2007. I’ve bought much nicer coaches polos since then and tried to go with them, but I always bring my lucky, ragged out piece of shite one with me and wind up changing at the slightest sign of us losing. But after we lost to Wake, I put on my championship gold polo last night. And we won. So I’ll be wearing that the rest of the way.

I also sleep in a 2003 championship t-shirt the night before every big game. It’s so faded you can’t even read it. Holes all in it. Can’t let it go.

Oh yeah, I bought some LSU socks before the ‘19 season. Wear them every game despite big arse holes in both heels. But you’d have to pry them off my cold dead feet to get these off of me now. Jesus Christ, I’m in my mid 40s and am still superstitious like a high school baseball player.
