I researched the area once but didn't go, but perhaps these may interest you. Can find them on Google maps and probably all trails.

Trail of the Cedars
Rainy Pass Trailhead
Blue Lake Trailhead
And of course the Diablo Vista Point.

There's a little resort on the Lake called Ross Lake Resort if that interests you as a stop.
