Big LSU game in Utah, yes Utah

Xavier Su'a Filo's Timpview team taking on John Martinez's Cottonwood team for the State Championship today at 2:30.
Timpview is 12-0 and has the state record for most victories in a row at 35 entering this game. Cottonwood is 13-0 itself. It's only the 18th time 2 undefeated schools have played for a state championship in all of the five classifications.
From the local paper, Martinez wore LSU eye black patches in last week's game.

Geaux Timpview...
Badger and Su'a-Filo should deal it out. I wish I could see this game. I want to get a good eye on craig bills at safety. that kid is unbelievable.
i wish spanish fork were still in it, however. some richard wilson hype would have done everyone some good..

polydad, any news on craig bills? i love everything i see about that kid. i know he is a byu commitment, but just wondering how legit he looks to be on the college level. thanks.

Not so big....the one kid has a msiion to go on....(anything can happen in 2 years) the other I have not heard or seen on LSU'S radar...I may be wrong?

On Friday, following the Colts 19-14 win over Pine View, this blog couldn't help but note that Martinez wore an LSU patch on the eye-black under his left eye. Martinez, of course, is one of the best offensive linemen recruits in the country. LSU is one of his final three choices. So is this a sign? Well, not so fast, says Martinez.
"You guys are going to have to wait until next week," Martinez said. "I'll have something else on next week."
he is clearly just toying around. USC strips today?

Timpview wins 34-28.

Su'a Filo is a monster. Made huge plays at the end of the game. Big and fast.
