FYI --- It's Friday, 10am.

The record is 18,777.

LSU has to average 1,665 shots per day (currently at 564) every day for the next 11 days to get to the record.

the shots pick up the further you get in the tournament.

You obviously have to go all the way even to have a shot but the dirty little secret of this challenge is a lot of these things don't get eaten, and a ton of money comes in from people sending money electronically to their friends who then put the order in to run up the numbers.

I'd be surprised if Ole Miss fans ate a quarter of those 16k Jello shots last year.

You need to adjust for inflation. They were $4.50 last year and they are $5.00 this year.
