Got a Weber Summit Kamado and a WSM and neither give me any trouble at all and are outside in the elements 24/7. They are about as set and forget as they come and can get up to 20 hours on a single load of charcoal. Plus they have zero motors and come with the Weber customer service. No idea why people go to such a lesser product that doesn't hold up very well.

Price, ease of use, and quality of cook.

I haven't spent over $250 on a gravity series. Spent maybe $100 on each to upgrade them to last longer and make clean up easy. They are as easy to run as a pellet grill and taste far closer to a stick burner than anything else on the market that I have tried so far.

A WSM has all of this and will last 30 years.
