-The On3 #1 player in the 2025 class will be on campus for a multiday visit.

-Right now Shea thinks it is Michigan and LSU as his top two. He has visited LSU a lot of times.

-Joe Sloan has worked this one hard with coaches and parents and gotten them into this race.

-Only visit in June right now for Bryce Underwood so far. How long does it take for him to pop? Could he take it into next spring?

-Been around Michigan, Michigan State and Ohio State but keeps coming to LSU.

-This would be a historic land for LSU they type of player that you haven't seen LSU get before.

-LSU not putting all their eggs in the basket for Underwood and MacIntyre. They have camped a lot of 2025 QB's. Sloan is doing work on evaluating. Lot of time for the 2025 cycle.

-You feel good about the LSU QB room. Nuss gets the nod after this year and does he stay two years?

-This is great for any 2025 QB looking to play early with how the LSU room sets up.

Weekend Official Recruiting Visitors

-CJ Jackson could be a BJ Ojulari type. If Georgia doesn't turn up the heat on him he could easily land at LSU. Shea has had him in both of his mock classes.

-Type of player that LSU wants as an EDGE in this class. LSU recruits him harder than anyone per CJ. Steal of the class possibility per Shea.

-CJ will officially visit Georgia next weekend. You will have a feel for LSU's real chances by July.

-Ory Williams out of San Marcus is interesting for Billy. He has offers from the big schools. RPM shows Texas but Billy doesn't get the feeling that Texas is going to be it.

-Development prospect that is still growing into his body. Billy has him in his mock class at an OT. If LSU turns up the heat they should land him.

-6'7 285 that BK and Brad Davis really like. Trust their evaluations. LSU/A&M battle for Ory Williams and Blake Ivy. Ivy expected to go to A&M right now so landing 1 of the 2 is great.

-Billy believes that Brad Davis will close this recruitment. Ory Williams is originally from Louisiana. Since not battling Texas as much in this one seems like LSU is the team to beat. He has said that himself.

-You get him into the program and let him develop.

-Ondre Williams will commit to LSU today. Blown away by LSU and Tigers love him.

-Jalyn Crawford was high on the list but now you have Ondre committing today. You have Ju’Juan Johnson on board with Wallace Foster at nickel.

-Where does LSU stack up with Crawford but it looks like Auburn is the leader.

-LSU still in it for Wardell Mack and Cai Bates. People thought Crawford was going to jump and commit last spring but held off.

-Crawford didn't flash dominance at camp when Billy saw him last in the setting.

-Stock was super high last summer but now Cai Bates and Ondre Evans have jumped up the board. Billy doesn't see him as a take right now.

-What if Cai Bates ends up elsewhere? Crawford on his official this weekend so Shea says we will get answers these next few weeks.

-Decisions are starting to have to be made . Decision for Crawford end of July

-JUCO TE Connor Gilbreath is also coming in officially his weekend. LSU is the team to beat per Shea & Billy. Taken Mizzou and Arizona visits.

-He helps out as a blocking TE. Dude wants to hit and hurt people. LSU has pass catching TE.

-They wanted someone in the portal for age and maturation in the body. But the plan is to develop him into a OT.

-Gilbreath apparently loves that idea very much. He still has two visits left. If he gets added he will join the 2023 class.

-Collin Hurley competed last night in the Elite 11 on the West Coast. Camp runs Wednesday through Friday.

-Usually performs very well in these settings.

-Elite 11 winner 50% is based on three days and then 50% how your junior season went.

-Hurley is a leader of the class on the recruiting front. Loves to camp and compete.

They’ll drop him down to a high three star if he commits

I think its highly improbable we pull the #1 QB recruit in the nation, much less one out of Michigan. I get this is the recruiting board so we like to speculate, but we just don't land prospects like that, especially at the QB position. Every year this board convinces itself we are gunna sign some national 5-star prospect, and then everyone melts when it doesn't happen, and then we rinse and repeat a la Ricks, Harbor, Foreman, & Burch.

I will be happy to be proven wrong on this so bookmark away, but take your purple shades off for a minute every once in a while. Obviously not targeted at you Crown as you are just relaying information, which is always appreciated.

Man, I think they are bringing in Carter Smith too. This one is super interesting, he’s a two sport athlete and has family ties to Louisiana.

I’m really impressed with Joe Sloan so far.
