I dont know, I had zoysia laid down last year about this time or a touch later. I had to water it a bunch. To the point that it was mushy, but if I didnt it would get crispy in no time.

This is what I used with good success
It’s the online version if the card Simpson Sod gave me. I think that I waited on my first mow a little longer than they said and did so very gingerly.

You don't say where you are, making advice difficult. You need to keep the bottom (dirt and roots) of the sod damp. Test that with a finger poke. If your area is superhot and dry, double the times that you have listed. When sod dries out it usually dies.

Keep and eye on it and make sure it isn’t dry, you can’t really over water it the first couple of weeks. If there becomes standing water back it off

Week 1 - water the lawn daily until it is soggy; Week 2 - water every other day until the sod is soggy; Week 3 - water the lawn twice that week until it is soggy. Thereafter, water as needed in the absence of rain.
Advice provided by a sod company that I purchased from and it’s worked well for me on multiple occasions.

I’m in Slidell and put down a couple of pallets about two months ago and this is what I did.
