I think it’s definitely worth the drive to do for a day. Red River and Angel Fire, at least to me, tend to get boring after 2 days. Taos has some really fun runs and for just an hour drive is worth experiencing and adding to your list of been there done that. Nice on mountain German restaurant too.

Well looks like the PNW is finally getting some snow, hoping that next weekend is decent at Crystal. Meanwhile Alyeska has forecasted 68" of snow over the next 10 days so it should be fun up there
Starting to figure out christmas plans and while I'm supposed to go to mammoth, they have gotten almost no snow for november and december. May need to make alternative arrangements for the ikon pass, potentially thinking of Sugarloaf/Sunday River in Maine or Sugarbush in VT. Will keep an eye on the long range forecasts but not looking too great for the west
