Anyone have an opinion or experience with Boa boots? They are very appealing to me but I can’t help to worry about shearing off that dial. I’d assume that’s not really a concern since every manufacturer offers it.

Can’t speak to them but I’ve been eyeing them. Just bought new boots 2 seasons ago but boa on a ski boot has my attention.

Been using boa on my mountainbike shoes for a few years with no issues, i wont buy shoes without em. My next snowboard boots will have boa enclosure.

I have Burton boa snowboard boots. They've been great. However, I only put 5 days on them a year for 3 years. So can’t really speak to longevity. But I like how it easy it is to loose/tighten them.

I've had them fail on road and mountain bike shoes. Not the Boa dial or wires. But where the dial and system is sewed into the leather of the shoe. Boa will replace dials and wires no questions asked. But when I tried to warranty one pair of cycling shoes, Boa blamed Shimano and Shimano blamed Boa. Luckily Backcountry (where I bought one pair) made the issue right, but this was a 200 dollar pair of cycling shoes. Would think twice about a 600 dollar plus pair of ski boots. Of course, I say this but my snowshoes have Boa enclosures...
