Skenes could do 150 with ease. Pitch counts are dumb. They’re just less dumb than every other method of judging arm fatigue. Some people are built for it and some aren’t.

Correct, every arm is different, every scenario is different. I believe Movement patterns, training, recovery, sleep, present health, volume of throwing between starts are all more important to arm health than number of pitches thrown in a game.
Truth is nobody knows what the secret sauce is, but there is also no set it stone death penalty for a guy who throws a bunch of pitches in an outing
