I don't know if OP has a postage stamp lot, or an estate, but for many of us electric weedeaters/mowers simply do not have enough power to do our yards. They have their place, but stop pushing them like they are the solution to everyone's problems.

Pretty much where I stand. I have a pretty sizable yard with a lot of growth I need to clear out. I can’t play around with an electric weed eater that can’t handle at least some moderate work.
