In other words - as a TRUMP supporter, DeSantis finally has my attention.

The allure of DeSantis is his ability to give you Trump policies but without the drama. He has a track record to run on. I think it speaks well of him. He also manages to go on the attack but without being off putting and creating the potential to pull voters away from Biden that we desperately need to have. I think he is a very serious candidate and threat not only to Trump but the Left in all of its forms. I do not buy into him being a bought and paid for by the WEF and other globalist organizations.

Trump is who is. He’s the bull in the China shop. He’s got his track record to run on and for the most part he does well. He’s exceptional on deregulation, foreign policy and the economy (but he likes to spend money which has its downsides). Those things matter greatly to me. I’ve got kids and we own a business. I want a stable world they can grow up in and I want the business to thrive. We had that during his term. But his shortcomings were getting legislation passed and pissing off a large part of the electorate that he has to have in order to win. Those are big hurdles to get over.

I’ll vote for either one in the general. For the primary I’m officially out because I am a registered no party preference here in California and the Republican Party doesn’t allow me to participate in the primary. I had been a life long Republican up until 2016/17 when I had had enough of the Republican Party shitting on Trump and actively undermining him.
