re: Parents of the OT: How do you deal with child going to grandparents for the summer?

We've been sending my kiddo back to Louisiana every summer to spend time with his grandparents, just two weeks usually, but I welcome a few weeks to not have that responsibility, plus he loves it.

We plan on doing it every summer, it's usually the most time he gets to spend with his grandpa who doesn't come visit as often.

We talk to him most nights to see how he's doing, but half the time he just wants to get back to playing.
