I can’t believe they haven’t done it sooner given all the bullshite climate change lawsuits that have been waged against it and other O&G companies in CA state courts.

CVX is prepping to leave. They separated all Cali oil fields into a joint venture and moved as many people out of California. Their assets are ready to divest when California is no longer profitable.
