Don't think I care why the difference. Brothers and Sisters in arms, going out the wrong way. We could probably ban social media and solve 50% of the problem.

Everyone makes fun of REMFs, but I was also a Navy brat, and have a keen understanding of what everyone left stateside (or at a port overseas) dealt with, and how they mirrored their anger back onto the people that were deployed.

There are plenty of shammers, I'm sure, but to take the Navy as an example, ship readiness is deprioritized over non operational issues. Multiple collisions of ships, and nothing seemingly changes? Then you get berthed on a barge
