Walton was pro-human rights and didn’t see people as black or white. He got along with everybody. You see him as a radical. I see him as someone who didn’t trust the federal government and he spoke out against it.

Walton was judged by many in the 70’s (and today) because he was a “hippie” that smoked weed and listened to the Grateful Dead. I’ve met Bill at several shows as he was always chill and laid back.

I saw him at a Dead and Co show in CA. That's all I got on Bill.
