Length of Entourage (Way too short)

You'd think they'd make them an hour long. Why are they so short?

They're as long as any other sitcom, just no commercials. I wish they were an hour too btw.

This show is good but in its current format, which HBO does on purpose (12-30 minute episodes), they seem to go for one direct plot line. They could expand the show to 12- 1hr episodes but I think they are keeping it simple on purpose.
Its just supposed to be a fun show that showcases Hollywood behind the scenes. They aren't going for any more depth then that. Mission Accomplished I guess.

I think there is a good chance the show could get stale if it went for hour long episodes. I mean, in the current season format, there's 4 or 5 episodes that are pointless and nothing happens. Imagine if they had 12 hour long episodes to fill.

Sitcoms are scheduled for 30 minutes, but air about 23-24. I don't think it would work as an hour-long. Not to mention, they'd have to double their current budget, which I'm sure is already pretty high.
