Why in the hell did OSU pull the lefty Keljo after one inning?

I'm not sure this has been discussed, and I get that it was likely a matchup thing, but in a regional up 3-0 you go to your 3rd pitcher to start the 4th inning?

I have a feeling it would've been a different game if he left him in for another 2-3 innings. If the roles were reversed, this place would be apoplectic right now if JJ had pulled that move.

The kid walks a ton of people. He wasn’t one orl their top guys. He was there to eat up that inning with the lefties coming up.

I guess he'll be available tomorrow for them? I twas a stupid move and he's a hard thrower too. I have no idea why.

He had 11 BB in 8 IP and a WHIP of 2.00 in conference play, so the coach probably wasn’t overly confident to leave him in for long. He was just trying to steal an inning before hopefully turning it over to Ferrer to finish out the game.
