And the kicker: “I’m ready to be praised for my heroism!”

As a general matter, I have no issue with homosexuals as long as it is two consenting adults. Two adult males banging sticks will always be gross to me...as a heterosexual. But if two consenting adults want to do it that is really none of my concern and I don't think they should not be allowed to do so.

The concern is now the media, large corporations, etc, are constantly portraying homosexuality as some sort of desirable, "cool" and "heroic" trait people should aspire to have...not simply just something that you are. Particularly towards children. Almost like a pop-culture fad.

I see the results of it among my 10 year old daughter's classmates where at least 3 girls in her class have declared themselves "bisexual". These are young children who have yet to even reach puberty and are just now BARELY accepting the concept of attraction to other people. NONE of these three girls have had a relationship of any kind, heterosexual or homosexual. Yet, through the bombardment of information they consume daily through the media, social media, corporations (Target is just one of hundreds) they see being bisexual as "cool". No different than kids thinking be a "valley girl" or "metalhead" in the 80's was cool.

The only difference is that being a valley girl likely didn't have lasting emotion effects once that fad died out. Being homosexual simply because it was "cool" at the time could. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see teenage boys and girls today who really aren't homosexual participating in homosexual acts not because they are really gay, but because it is "cool" for this generation. Then, they mature into adulthood and deeply regret that behavior.

From a male perspective it is much worse because, fair or not, there is a CLEAR double-standard in how it is viewed in society. A female can have a phase where she is a lesbian, only to later realize she isn't and "revert" back to heterosexuality without much societal stigma associated with her past. Hell, I know a few women who have done just that and no one really bats and eye. But for a male, the "build a thousand bridges..." stigma still applies. That could have some serious repercussions later down the line

Right. The level of propaganda being pushed on all this stuff and the children is appalling. It's about time people start speaking up about all of this.

I'm old enough to remember when it was "we just want to get married then we will leave you alone"
