Of course EV owners don’t like it. They have been exploiting a loophole that allows them to not pay their share for roads.
Then again most younger people these days have no issue with a free ride and the thought of enjoying something that they didn’t earn doesn’t bother them. Society is shifting. Things that used to be unacceptable are now socially normal.
