This isn’t a how to question. On my phone or tablet it’s instantaneous and only makes me put in my provider info maybe once a month. I use Nvidia shield to stream on my TV. Every time I try to watch a game this way it gives me a code and I have to go to ESPN.com/activate on my phone and enter the code then enter my provider password. Is there anyway around this? I’m not sure why this device doesn’t act like the others and retain my log in info. TIA.

I have same issue. I have to reauthenticate espn every time I watch sec +.

I’ve come to the conclusion that espn app is trash.

My Samsung in the living has been giving authentication error for LSU games. I can watch anything except LSU. I can watch on all other TVs in the house. Just not the living room.

My Samsung TV does the exact same shite. All the other Samsung’s with the Roku boxes work great. The Samsung in the living room is a newer tv with all that shite built into it. And it won’t play my ESPN app.

I don’t have an issue watching it. I just have to jump through the same hoops every time unlike when I watch on my phone or iPad.

Never had that problem with ChromeCast. I cast from my laptop and my iPhone and have never had to reauthenticate. As long as you are logged in correctly on your device, ChromeCast would never ask you to do it again on your TV. Of course, if you are using an App directly on your Smart TV, I could possibly understand having to do that. ChromeCast is only about $40.

You don’t have to authenticate your account info every time?

Maybe it’s because Nvidia is android and all my other devices are Apple. Not sure.

I have the same issues almost every SEC+ game. Also, never get to see the first batter because it doesn’t show live game until after the game has already started!

My Samsung makes me log back in to watch every single game and even then I will have to do it a few times occasionally. Never had issues on any of the other Sony TV’s or my phone
