I will also reaffirm the suggestions of the Preserve. It's one of the nicest courses I've ever played.

Despite having one of the stupidest Par 3s on earth the preserve is great. Grand Bear has an amazing club house and is very secluded. I would thrown in Shell Landing or Windance as just a notch below but excellent value.

The Preserve is nice, but it is not worth the $180 green fee they charged last summer.

I found the preserve to be a very difficult course. The greens were super fast and had absurd undulations, which at times were distinctly unfair. Needless to say, the course kicked my butt but I can’t wait to go back.
