I just read all the post. And this question was not asked.
What is the temperature and humidity in other rooms in the house? What is the temperature of the air coming out of the ducts in your bedroom and in other rooms.
My question..... is the high humidity only in your bedroom or does the whole house have high humidity?

Have you done a test to see how long does your A/C run and then how long does it stay off. Do this for about 3 cycles to get an average.
My wife has told me there might be problem with our A/C because it is running "all the time". When I check it..... it is only running about 50% of the time.
