This is my problem with this whole issue. The author of the linked Tweets presents this as surgery being formed to reassign genitals when that isn’t at all what was happening. There is certainly a debate to be had on the use of puberty blockers and hormone therapy(hormone therapy is actually fairly common for other puberty issues) but people like the author of the Tweet gin it up to make it sound way worse than what is actually happening to prey on people’s emotions.

From everything I’ve read, actual genital reassignment surgery on minors is still extremely, extremely rare and almost every hospital has a policy against it.

This is the problem, the activists and gender theorists and always shifting the language hoping to normalize disgusting/bizarre acts.

This gap is going to end up bad for the activists. It just shows they have no interest in being held accountable because they've decided "truth" is theirs to dictate and anyone who opposes them wants "genocide". They literally say this repeatedly. Anyone who isn't fully not just committed, but even CELEBRATORY of transing kids is an evil enemy of their orthodoxy.
