re: Any recommendations on land in E. TN?

I lived in East Tennessee for about a year, had to leave for family reasons. I was about 30 minutes west of Knoxville and loved it. Anything you can find around Watts Bar Lake is great. Harriman, Rockwood and Kingston are super laid back, low key towns. They are "tiny towns" so don't expect lots of choices for excitement but great place to live and raise kids. Maryville is a bigger place but also nice. It's about the same distance from Knoxville.I would stay away from living in Knoxville, but that's me.
