Zurik has credibility. I don’t think there is any chance that he would knowingly conspire with another garbage contractor to contrive a story to help rig a deal.
Torres has a lot of money and will go to great lengths to trash fox 8 and zurik. He can and will throw a lot of shade, smoke, and even grenades to confuse things.

The problem with some "investigative" reporters is that they are rather clueless about the mechanics of things so jump to conclusions.
As far as Torres, I was never a fanboy. He's definitely played the grey area of the legal system and politically too. Uptown elite are the puppet masters of whichever mayor is in office and have been for a long time now. When their chosen puppet Bagneris didn't make the runoff several years ago, they jumped on the Latoya the Destroya train. Charbonnet wasn't playing their games (she had two Trump 2016 campaign staffers behind her)
