Who calls the pitch for the pitcher?? Obviously this guy doesn’t know the pitcher’s capability. A major college pitcher should be able to throw a strike when needed. Let the guys behind you play the ball if its hit. Walking, hitting batters, and throwing the ball in the dirt with runners in scoring position is a sign of poor pitch selection.

We’re the opposite of a “pitch to contact approach” he wants to strike everyone out and he nibbles the corners even in 3-0 counts. Anybody gives up a hit or two they get yanked but it’s ok to Walk guys around the bases.

Looks like with strike zone and LSU picking around the plate. The scouting of the pen from opposition is to make LSU throw strikes. The pen can not or does not throw 3 strikes in a row and that's a problem when you 3 and 0. He'll 2 and 0 don't swing they will walk you.

Let the pitcher throw pitches he’s in command of….not ones he can’t throw with any confidence…just coaches being too cute!!!
