Could be wrong, but my impression is that L.A. is relatively un-woke compared to SF Seattle, PDX, Chicago and NY. Probably also less woke than recently captured cities like Milwaukee, Minneapolis. I think these criminals will be held accountable when caught.

Your impression is categorically false. Their current DA, who somehow survived a recall last year, is none other than George Gascon. You'll love this, his previous elected position was also as a DA...of San Francisco.
Nobody involved in this will ever see the inside of a courtroom. Even if arrested, Gascon will cut them loose in the name of "justice."
