For the base model? Wow. The dealerships in the bay area were charging 5-6k over MSRP. I test drove an SX model there and when I decided that was the vehicle I wanted but not the trim, I took a bus up to Humboldt and bought the LX model for sticker price and then drove it 4 hours home. It might be worth looking for one in a less populated region where dealerships can't afford to risk community goodwill by jacking up prices. That's what the dealership told me, they would lose their reputation if they attempted to do what the bay area dealers did.
