A veterinarian has a DOCTORATE of Veterinary Medicine degree, not to mention why your vet bills keep increasing is because more and more advanced diagnostics and medical treatments from human side are being brought to vet side.

I got my cat spayed 6 years ago. If she gets sick she’ll go die somewhere like a cat is supposed to. So I have not and will not notice the increase in vet costs.
