Yes, it was perfectly fine. I find it a bit shocking that people think most attorneys that do this kind of stuff are sober when they're going through the motions.
As long as you and S/O agree, LegalZoom is far better, and more clear cut than my dumbass mediator was, or my ex-wife's attorney. It's not hard. Who would have thought dividing a 401k by cash value instead of percentages of shares would backfire? This guy right here, with an Ag degree. Her lawyer and mediator? What's the problem here? (Stock market changes by the hour, etc.)
If it's complicated, maybe you need an attorney. Most people don't.
