Our WR room this season should be pretty good (Better then last season) with Olave, Sheheed, Perry. If we can get anything out of Thomes it will be phenomenal.

Again though, IMO Thomas is going to have a great season because he's on basically a one year prove it contract and he knows a lot of money is riding on him being healthy and productive after basically 3 mulligan seasons.

Looking at spotrac, it appears there is a chance he is still here under the current contract in 2024; unless they have an unofficial official agreement. But looking at the bonus opportunities, there is no way he is missing any games for nagging injuries.

quote:

Contract Notes:
$10M guaranteed (signing bonus + 2023 salary + 2024 roster bonus)
2024 Roster Bonus: $3.74M (guaranteed)
$220,000 per game active
2025-2027 years automatically void
Receptions ($750,000)
$250,000 each for 100, 110, 120

Receiving Yards ($750,000)
$250,000 each for 1000, 1150, 1300

Receiving TDs ($250,000)
$250,000 for 7

Pro Bowl + Playoffs: $250,000
All-Pro 1st Team: $500,000
Offensive Player of the Year: $1M
NFL MVP: $500,000
Super Bowl MVP: $500,000
Super Bowl Win + 110 catches or 1150 yards: $500,000

For those that don't want to do the math, if he replicates 2018 or 2019 over 17 games he is looking at another $6.24M in performance bonuses, and another $750k for the ProBowl & playoffs and All-Pro designations. Not sure if the per game bonus carries into playoffs
