Other options are remans from Jasper.
One of my options was a Jasper installed locally...3 year or 100k warranty.
MDS deleted remanufactured engine...$11,900 total price.
I'm kind of in the rock/hard place in so far as to which way is best. Fix it or get what I can for it and buy new/used. New truck prices are ridiculous, 47k-106k, kind of insane.
Thanks for the replies.

We will not install customers parts because our Completed Operations will be null and void. Basically if your part hurts you, my guys, or anybody else.....my insurance will not pay. Any reputable shop with insurance will not take it on.
I quoted one yesterday, used with 100k is running around 3k and jasper is close to 5k. labor and parts will run around 2500.
I would sell the truck as is and take those monies to a new truck if it were me.

Just buy a used low mileage titan for 30k.
I love these guys saying 40 hours for motor install.
First one i ever did as a 21 year old kid took 19 hours to remove.
Took 3 to install. 5 if you include cursing at the upper transmission bolt that REFUSED to line up
That's no experience and hand tools.
God I miss being 21

I did this with my '05 F150 a few years ago. I've been pretty happy with the decision.
